Worn CV Joints..bad to drive with em?

i have been driving my car for a very very long time with worn out cv joints...is this gonna cause more severe damage like worn axels or what? I just can't afford to get em fixed right now..

just change the whole driveshaft. it's cheaper and easier. the worst that can happen is they will pop off braking the lower balljoints, but that is a rare occurence

No, he's serious. I priced it from the dealer and parts + labor was about the same for replacing the halfaxle+cv as doing just the cv.

I don't see any reason to get them fixed though - worst case is that something snaps and you have to push your baby home on 3 wheels.
