b20 block/b16 head
I'm thinking about swapping a b20 block with a b16 head into my 89 civic hatchback dx would this be possible to swap or should I just go with a b16 long block.

make sure the shop that does they swap has done it before and has some that rea running well afte alot of miles, the b20 crank/rods/pistons dont like 8000 rpms too much. ive seen more thrown rods, spun bearings, and blown piston rings out of b20/vtecs than any other hybrid motor. i have yet to see one make it 10k miles without MAJOR problems. the ls/vtec might be better. or just get a b18c1 so you know you have a block mated with the right head.
