Painting bulbs...?

Hey I want to have blue turn signal lights and blue backup lights but i cannot find the proper blue bulbs that would fit. I know i can order special 'bulb paint' from the states but that is just too costly with shipping to Canada.. can i just use another high temperature paint instead? Any sugg/recommendations/warnigns would be great..thx

Ok i went to Canadian tire here and looked up what kind of bulbs go into my turn signals and so i bought the blue bulbs that are supposed to fit. Turns out the blue lights i bought are different then the stock ones in the holster thingy-ma-bober. Sooo...can i just paint em?
