Anniversary...

Well its my GFs and mine 1yr anniversary this saturday, the 21st. Its amazing what all I *want* to do this weekend. Want to go to NOPI in Atlanta and/or go to Alabama Football game in Tuscaloosa, but Im staying in town to be with her! Anyways, heres the deal... she has a guitar/amp/recording program and is damn good at it... shes an aspiring musician... anyways, what the hell should I get for her? Looking to spend 100-200 bucks on it... Anyways, she got an Alpine head unit for her stereo a few weeks back, and wanted new speakers then. She decided not to spend the money on new speakers, but im sure she still wants them. Think I should go with the speakers for her (1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee) or get something else? Need ideas, eve if they are completely unrelated to music, speakers, or anything else. Thanks a ton, I just need to get the creativity ball rolling!

Yeah I'm not planning on sex that night... although in the last month or two I have been seriously reconsidering my decision to wait until marriage. I know she wants to have sex, but I would be proud of myself if I could wait, and it'd be much more admirable. Oral sex is great, but the idea of intercourse is so luring... anyways sorry to get off-topic from the topic listing in the off-topic forum but yeah... speakers good idea? Might get some roses, but I doubt it... definately taking my moms car that night! (01 bmw conv)... anyways yeah... what should I get her? Thanks again!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary on the 2nd. Well sort of, we are actually celebrating on the 29th.....we are going to see a show and then going out to eat at this really nice and expensive place to eat......anybody know any ideas to get a guy? He is very into modding his car, but he just got a brand new one last weekend and he can't do anything to it until he pays it off......anways....any ideas?

instead of some pratical gift why not go with some sweet romantic gesture such as renting a hotel room with a jaccuzzi and then lay rose petals from teh door to the already prepared bubble bath, lined with candles and he favorite champaigne.if over 21.

i think you should DO something memorable, though a gift would be nice. If you wine and dine her shes going to remember that more then a gift.

for $200 this is what i would do (dont tell her your plans for the night)

1-Buy her 24 red and white (12 of each) roses
2-Pick her up about 30min before the sun sets and drive somewhere with a good view like beach, cliff etc etc
3-Watch the sun go down with her and as it goes down give her a nice kiss and tell her how much you care for her (maybe even love her) then give her the roses and say something sweet (i would give you a line but i fly by the seat of my pants in these situtations, sorry mate. Im sure your up to it though)
4-Now you could either just take her for a spin at the beach or head of to a nice place to eat. The idea is you end up at a nice place to eat.
5-So now your at the place (maybe even find out her fav place and go there), just have a relaxing evening with her and give her some small but thoughtful gift... just have a good time with her
6-After dinner head to a nice late night cafe for something sweet and try something euro style
7-After desert just take the long way home, maybe if she seems up to it stop somewhere with the top up for a little
8-Then drop her off at her house around 1am (or whatever time she has to be home) give her a nice kiss and send her on her way

Ok thats enough romance from Rob for the day. I think a girl should be whine and dinned, forget the gift just show her a good time. If its a good relationship (aka in it for the right reasons) she will most likely enjoy this more then an expensive gift. Something to remember its the small things that matter if its really special for both of you go out of your way by holding the door for her or pulling out her seat (not to far she might fall hehe, no one ask!). Whatever you do unless you normally order for her DONT, from what I can tell girls dont like it.

Possible small gifts:
-framed picture of you and her together, something memorable
-understated necklace with some pendant ex heart, animal etc etc
-earings (something simple but elegant, make sure its @ least 14k gold though)

On the topic of waiting till marriage, its up to you. But theres nothing like sharing that with the woman your going to spend the rest of your life with. To be frank you never know how long this relationship will last not to mention, there is some stress in having sex; you could knock her up and thats no fun. On a personal note, it seemed like a good thing to sleep with my last gf but now i wish i hate waited.

so d you think that would go over well? thats what i was thinking of doing for Amanda if we had ever made it to our 1 year. Though she wouldn't have deserved it, that God the girl is out of my life.

It sounds really nice!
I like the idea of implementing the hotel with roses and jacuzzi idea too though!
Like instead of the drop off you come back to the hotel at ~11 and just "chill" in the jacuzzi with her with a bottle of your favourite wine with candles!

Woah guys easy... thatd be lots of fun Biker, but unfortunately won't work because:
1)She already got me big present so I want to give her something in return
2)Not really much scenery around here... live in Memphis, TN... theres the Mississippi River, but thats an easy 30min drive from our houses...
3)She has an early curfew of 11:30 all the time and will probably not get an extension so yeah...

Anyways, heres what I am planning so far:
1) Pick her up in the bimmer... dress nicely but not over-do it ie: not a suit
2) Go to the Summit Club restaraunt which is on the top floor of the highest building in the city
3) After dinner take a nice stroll around a park that is special to her and I because its the first place that just the two of us started hanging out together
4) Drive to a very reclusive place in middle of city
5) Exchange gifts and possible other things as well
6) Take her home by 11:30, drive home, and be all happy

How does this sound? I think It'll be a blast... just hope the shifter in the Bimmer doesnt get in the way!!! Anyways, any tweaking of this would be nice... Thanks

PS- I have 100-200 bucks to spend on gift, not including dinner, etc... I worked hard this summer and have plenty-o-cash

Dude why the hell you think we are going to reclusive place in the city? There is the "Hunt and Polo Club" near our house... tons of land, nobody ever there... in middle of city, its great

I know what Im doing, trust me on this one

dude i was just tryign to be different, if shes already gotten you a gift do you feel the need to match her?- just a thought

spend away my friend, how about getting one of her friends to show you something clothing wise she has been looking at for awhile and buy it in her size. Her jaw will hit the floor when she opens it (dont tell her how you found out). Its a secret and you girls on the board should just forget what i said above.

you know what dude anytime you spend with your gf is a blast. your going to have a great time... and the shifter might get in the way, it always did durring my car experiences.

Yeah curfew sucks... I hate her parents... mine would let me stay out all night and not care, but her dad had a child when he was only 17 and the girl was 16 so he is strict thinking she will repeat his mistake... oh well, life will go on... and no I wont "knock her up" if we have sex... Im smart enough to put a rubber on... if you would please read my thread in the audio section if you know anything bout speakers... thanks

I don't believe Bose does aftermarket speakers!
Only stock for cars like RL's and such...and for some an upgrade option.

You should buy her a dozen single from Kelly Clarkson or whatever her name is and a shot gun. Then take her to the nearest skeet range.
