Someone who doesn't ***** about stupid shit, such as a guy looking at porn.. not like "Hi im looking at porn" but if someone in the room has porn on the TV.. they go "DONT LOOK AT IT, DONT LOOK AT HER" thats annoying as hell

um.. nice? not a person who feels they need to be with me all day long... guess thats it..

Oh... and a girl that would be happy just going for a drive with me...

and looks *RUNS FROM ROB*

gixer...good teeth would fall under the looks category....and man you guys don't look for much in girls....

Me...I look for a sense of humor (any kind as long as he's not mean and hatin on everyone) respectful, honest, caring, trust-worthy, has goals in life and willing to work hard to achieve those goals, similar interests as me-but also diverse interests so he can teach me about some of the things he loves that I might not know anything about, a guy that isn't clingy to me or his friends and can do independent things, and someone that I can completely goof off with but then turn around and have a very intelligent meaningful conversation with. Oh yah and someone that is "emotionally" sound.

I think that's it for now. If I think of any others I'll post them

Understanding. Not being obsessive or controlling. Good sense of humor. Intelligent. Trust worthy. Not being stuck up or competitive. Honest. Someone who is not scared of his feelings or expressing them. Don't play games or put up a stupid front. NOT asking me to sleep over constantly after I went out with you once.

I'm not sure. I'm still kind of weirded out by it. I haven't gone out with anyone since then. Then, that whole e-mail thing happened. That pissed me off. He was mad at me after I made it pretty clear that I wasn't interested. Immature.

Yeah, if you're not physically attracted to a person what are you supposed to do? Put a bag over their head?

granted dating an ugly chick would be hard, but really it should be more about who she is then what she is.

hondaman-iac dude you got it rough, no question about it.

For me its:

-RESPECT
-Trust
-communication
-dependable
-understanding
-caring
-kind
-control of her emtions
-understands herself, otherwise shes never gonna be able to understand me if she doesn't get herself first
-mature (girls who play games make things hard)
-enjoys similar things as me but also has different interests
-complex (most girls are )
-willing to try new things
-has no problem putting a man in his place while still showing respect

thats just a few there are more but thats enough typin for one post

I look for someone who is nice, intelligent, someone who can hold a decent conversation. Someone who is honest and willing to communicate. I hate people who lie. A man with morals, and goals in life. I want someone who trust me and isn't insecure. Someone who doesn't start a fight about something stupid just for attention. A person who doesn't yell, but would rather talk about things. Has to respect me as well as himself. He can't be rude or downgrade people. Someone who likes to have fun, but is content sometimes with cuddling on the couch and watching a movie.
He has to have a sense of humor. And can't be boring. Someone who listens as well as gives advice. Someone who will love me for everything, faults and all and not be biased because of them. Not afraid of commitment.
And a guy who has his own mind, not his friends mind. This happens all to much where a guy will let his friends influence his thinking because they make him feel embarassed or something cuz he thinks he might be in love. A
strong man, someone who isn't a pussy and will stick up for himself or me when put in the situation.

............I guess that is about it.....

NO...I DEFINITELY expect more out of myself than I do my partner. I think I have proven that time and time again too. The thing that sucks is that I always end up gettin dogged cuz of it too. I'll learn one of these days.

As for the looks thing. I know what Rob was tryin to do. We as humans focus on the visual aspect of relationships....he was tryin to get us to focus on the things that actually hold the relationship together and find out what is important to us. Looks are what initially draw us in....but you can be with the most attractive person on the planet and still be lonely cuz they aren't fulfilling your needs in the relationship.

Yeah, that's called a front. Because people want to project a certain image of theirselves to impress people. Or because they know that they're not that good of people and maybe it will help them to feel better about the paths that they have chosen.

It's such a dissapointment to find that the person you thought you were getting to know and like really weren't themselves. I try to always be myself when meeting new people and they either like me for me or they don't, although it bothers me when people don't like me, but life goes on. You can't win everybody.

As for what I look for in the opposite sex:

sense of humor (a must!)
caring/kind/nice
intellegent
honest
motivated
respectful
optomistic
similar interests
makes me feel safe when I'm with him
nonjudgemental

My girl has to be honest, as goofy as me, and someone I can trust. Plus someone that likes to get out and do stuff, not a girl thats afraid sweat.

Now if I could just teach my wife to stop kicking my ass at everything she'd be perfect..

Hmm its kind of hard to not bring up looks when your asking what we look for in people. Some body told me this once I forgot how it goes but the gest is that in life everyone has to try but the ugly people have to try a hell of a lot harder. So I guess besides looks, you have to be able to talk to her about something serious with out her cracking up.

That totally pisses me off. I file that one under lack of maturity.....I can't stand someone who's incapable of holding a meaningful and serious conversation without laughing as if it's a joke.

Yeah, or I hate it if someone just can have a serious conversation with getting all distracted and weird about it. That used to happen with one of my X's. We would be talking and he would start picking at the wallpaper or playing with random things that were on the table or something. Not cool.

No, I was never harsh on him. After we broke up and because he f*cked me over...Yeah, I was harsh. But in a relationship, I'm not a ***** and I will do anything to avoid a fight. Obviously, little random fights will happen but I'm not with a person because I want to be a ***** and fight with him. I have friends like that. They do it because they love the drama.
