How cheap are we talking about? And I assume for going all-motor, yes?

Remove the airbox resonator, and drop in a K&N. You can also replace the OEM airbox tubing with some cheap intake tubing or something. Bingo! An ARC look-alike intake box.

Get a cheap straight-through eBay stainless-steel muffler, and have a shop do the mandrel-bent pipes for you. There you go; a cat-back exhaust for maybe $350, depending on who does it. (Mine cost about $365 from my shop.)

If you want a homemade turbo kit, those can be done "cheaply," relatively speaking.

Not sure what else you're looking for. Handling? Looks?

AEM Cold air intake about $200
Change all the lubricating fluids to a quality synthetic: maybe $50-60
Nitrous: $475

Pull your Air Conditioning (10 hp at the crank plus a whole lot of weight reduction (i'll let you guys know exactly how much when i pull it)) FREE

Swap out your power steering rack and pump for a manual rack (tighter steering less weight and another 5-10 hp free'd up at the crank) - FREE-$300

Change your ignition system (if it's the internal coil type) get an msd dist.cap that uses and external coil and get a coil - $50-$100

Do what Viet916 said

especially <a href="http://www.homemadeturbo.com/">HOME MADE TURBO</a>

Nitros is your best bang for the buck but getting it filled constantly makes it hard to afford anything new.

h22. how much do you want to spend, we can tell you the best stuff to get for that price. and will you continue to modify this car as money comes in or do you just want to do a few things and be done with it?

that wing is just wrong...

if your not wanting to spend a whole lot and want a diff engine, a b16 costs much less than a b18. Of course an b18 is better but a b16 runs about 1300. I might be full of it though...

perf. header to a high flow cat and a nice muffler is rather affordable.

yeah, b18 or b16 is best bang for buck. h22 is best bang, but its gonna hurt a little more in the wallet
