Engine of Civic EX 2000
i just wonder that, is that Civic EX have the B16A engine? and what esle difference between an EX engine and a SI one?

If im not mistaken the B16A1's come from 89-91 CRX si's they are DOHC, and put out 160 bhp...
Your engine is SOHC and i believe has 127hp... ![]()

D is the series....16 is the displacement....Y is for spec Y....8 is for version 8.

You can actually get front mount 'cold air' intakes that look exactly like an intercooler.
