No new car this year

i've been playing with the idea of getting a new car this summer, since i noticed that my car is a bit messed up from all that pedal to the metal and handbrake enhanced cornering plus i got rear ended few times so my frame is a bit out of place right now. not by much, and it did not come up to the alignament shop, but still you can see the way the trunk lid alignes with the quarter panels. I was planning on selling the car, and with the money that i have saved in the first month of the summer break to put a 7grand down payement (savings+my car) and get a 6th gen accord, but looking at the prices an 98 lx with over 60k miles is around 16-17grand and i do not afford that. i mean i could do it but then the payement is gonna be bigger, and i'm still in college right now. so i guess i'll fix up the 92 and roll it for another 2-3 years till i get out of college.

I am very sure that if you look around, you'll be able to find a 98 lx for a better deal than that. Keep lookin' around before you decide.

i looked in the papers, on the net even i havew visited few dealers and everything was above 15 grand at least. i could get one for 17grand but i have some plans for the winter, and i might tie the knot next fall, so i do not want to jump ahead
