hey guys...earlier tonight, i went over to my friend's house...there were about 5 of us there...and we decided that we were gonna get out our gloves and throw some rounds...i fought 2 guys...1...a guy a little bigger than me, yet a little weeker. I boxed for about 15 sec...i got one good shot in on his right eye...and he decided he didn't want to take a chance messing up his eye with his contacts and all...and the second...the guy was a little smaller than me...he was also more experienced and a little quicker...we went for a pretty long while...just trading shots back and forth....eventually...both of us got tired anf we agreed that i won tha match...and we're gonna fight again in a couple days or so...once we get rested up...lol
i came out of the night with my left eye bothering me...lol(it feels like i got a stick stuck in there...:()hehe

I just wondered if anyone else boxes nonprofessionally...and what you guys think of this

Mobbo, I have been boxing since i was about 10, did a little bit in college. I'm a lightweight, heaviest class ive been at is the big 125. Sounds like you had fun though, all that matters, you'll find it ain't strength, its all about speed (of course its good to have that little bit of punch behind it) About your eye, it should go away soon, well i hope

yeah your eye should be fine in just a couple of days, but if u had fun that's what matters.

when i was younger we used to have "boxing matches" in our front yard. i knocked the snot out of my best friend

oops, i didn't mean to, honest! then she went around and knocked the air out of one of our guy friends...it was so much fun

Ive got a bag that I punch around on for a little while here and there. But thats about it, its a great way to relieve some stress..

yea man, i box with my freinds all the time! 4 of us get together and we go at it. you know we get alot of stress from school, parents and cops!!!!!! grrrr...so we take our anger out when we box. we have set rules, set round time..and just go at it. its so fun to let your anger out in a good manner you know..i love it. i'm all small but i'm really quick and like most of the guys are all tall..so its kind of a miss match, but its so much fun! hehe.
