It's for the Ipod which I have not even bought yet.. but I plug the Ipod in there, close the door to the little compartment and forget about it. The remote can also fit there. Basically the whole stereo can be hidden except for the kick panels.

Thanks man. . I washed/polished/waxed it today. Not very happy with the feel of this new 3M shit I tried. I can usually polish it to the point the bottle slides right off the car.. but it never got very slick, the paint still felt dirty, and it was a bitch to get off. So I had to go over it again with regulat Meguirres polish.. I hate polishing/waxing.

That 3M stuff. I'm not a big fan of it either. I used to detail cars for a living. Maguires is the way to go.
