ok i bought a new sub box today and i installed it to my system. So i have my RCA cables running from my SUB PRE OUTS from my deck to my audio in on my amp and etc etc etc...but for SOME stupid reason, it will NOT let me adjus tmy sub level independantly. The only way to increase my bass is to turn the BASS up on my deck but taht also increases the bass of the speakers. does anyone have ANY idea wtf is going on?

Are you talking about controlling the sub independantly through the HU? If you, that's a feature that your particular HU is supposed have, not the amp/subwoofer.
