Exhaust on auto Civic EX
any suggestions for an exhaust system on a civic ex coupe? oh, one thing...it's an automatic? worth it at all? i don't want something too loud...

My honest opinion: Intake/Header/Exhaust pretty much only makes more noise on sohc civics...thats about it. So you can if you want to do it, but as far as making it faster, it really wont do much. |

I've found that they can make a difference. Not a huge one but enough to notice. However with an automatic you can't realy use the engine to it's full potential by choosing your own gear and desired R.P.M. I think an exhaust on an automatic would be more for looks.

well it did make a difference for both of my hondas and both of them are autos.

it made a difference on my car its an auto, but the 55 shot made a little more difference, to each his own!!!!
I got stuck with an auto oh well |

get a catback if you want an exhaust and it wont be that bad just don't have some shop make a "custom" exhaust
