my friends think they know shit about cars and one of them thought that a reed vavle was a bov....and another one thought that u could put a bov on a car witout a turbo..LMFAO

I was talking to a guy at work the other day who doesn't know what hes talking about, but i didn't have the heart to tell him hes an idiot.
Like i need cermaic headers for nitrous. And he has a friend that is running a 150 shot on a stock civic, and hes taken 3 mustangs right off the line spraying..... I was like alright... |

this is actually interesting. Is a reed valve standard equipment? I read the description, but I want to know more. What is the advantage to something like this? Is pressure escaping out the front end a real problem in car engines?

Reed valves are pretty old hat...they're often used in place of a small displacement 2 or 4 stroke engine. You want something REALLY interesting? Check out a Coates Spherical Valve engine. Wicked cool shit.
