P8nt time.

Well I decided to get off my lazy ass today and paint the ugly black side moldings that I was blessed with.

Everything has gone somewhat smoothly today, though 3 cans of paint did cost me upwards of 15 ish dollars. I'll post some pics up when i'm done.

I plan to finish the job off in 2 days as well as finishing my door handles.pray to god this turns out well.

ok .. just beautiful.

after a hard day of spraying, recoating, recoating and 8 layers later, it's all good..

then...

I made a big boo-boo. Don't know what kind of clearcoat to use? Don't use the engine clearcoat. it turned my beautiful white coats to a kinda pee-ish yellow puke color.

sooooo...... I have to resand them down and paint them over again....

meaning.. this will take me a couple of days to complete.. I still need to take out my handles and mirrors as well.

argh.. frustrated.

shi*t, might I advise that if you're going to paint anything on your car... take it off the car.

We can say this was a disaster.

well not completely, but its not up to par with my level of satisfaction.
