Door Lock
'91 accord. When I use the automatic door lock on the drivers side it will not lock. I have to use the door key. Is this norm. and can I override it?

no you cannot override it. it is a feature to avoid locking the keys in the car. that thing won't go down unless the door is closed shut and you are operating the button from inside. otherwise you will need to use the key or the remote if u have any

Have you tried pulling on the door handle and then pressing the button - works for my 97 Honda civic
