Rev wheels?

I'm going to buy some 17" rims in a couple weeks and I came across this brand, Rev wheels. I'm just wondering if anyone has had them or knows anything about these wheels. I wanted to get either model vi or model x. They are fairly light for their size and fairly inexspensive. Any info is appreciated. http://www.revwheels.com/

i also have never heard of them.. i think 17's look rediculous on a civic, and i also dont find 16lbs light, BUT i do give credit.. i GUESS for a 17 that is pretty light...just not sure if id take the chance on a company no one has ever heard of..

16 pounds for a 17" wheel is fairly light. Ive searched and called companies like Konig, Enkei, Tenzo, RH evolution and most of their wheels in size 17" are heavier. Unless I go with a forged wheel which I can't afford then I don't think I'm going to find very much of a difference in weight. I'm just wondering if anything can go wrong with a wheel. I've never bought wheels before so I don't really know.

a 16lb 17" wheel would bend if you sneezed on it.. especially if they're not 600 bucks a piece.

If you want 17's get a GOOD heavy set that won't bend everytime you hit a pothole... the tire proflie is WAY too low on 17's... even a solid 17" wheel will bend MUCH easier than a light weight 15" would.

And fyi.. my 11lb. 15's bent on a pothole that SHOULD NOT have bent my wheel.. i mean I hit it hard but it wouldn't have dented my old wheels or my stockers.

That's something to think about. I just don't want to hinder my acceleration too much.

i've never of 'em but my stock 14 inches steelies weight at a whooping 18 lbs.. so 16 lbs for a 17 is fairly light...even if it weights a little less it will still dramatically affect your acceleration, it may reduce a lil bit of unsprung weight but the rotational diameter is still big...i say 16 is the biggest on any civics...

I guess my taste are a little different then, atleast with my car. I've got the newer version si and I don't think 16's would fill the wheel well too much. I saw a pic of an si withought it lowered with 17's and the wheel gap was rediculous more than 3". I originally wanted 16's because they are usually cheaper and have less weight, but after I saw that pic I think 17's and lowering the car would look good. As of now I'm kind of in limbo as to what wheels to get. I just can't make up my mind, too many choices. Thanks though for the help.

oc civic what size wheel you recommend on a 95 civic then??

I picked up a set of 17" konig heliums a couple months ago. They weigh in @ 16lbs.

We put a set of 17" RS Limited Concept Pros on my buddy's RSX...they weight about 17lbs.

I'd recommend either one to anyone looking for an inexpensive, semi-lightweight wheel.

After looking at some pics with 17's on the si I ended up going with 16's. The 17's look cool, just not the look I'm going for. Plus I might get some benefit of lighter wheels. Anyways I ended up going with Rota sliptreams in black. I know alot of people have them, but they are fairly light especially for the price, 13.5 lbs., and I don't have the money nor care to own the real spoons.
