Yea, APC uses the term "Cobra Eyes" for their LED wiper-nozzle lights. And I think it depends on the cop and what color you get. If you get blue lights, they're definately illegial... amber or hyperwhite, it's really up to the cop....

I forgot who said it, but the quote goes a little something like this "He who represents himself has a fool for a client..."
Anyway, if you're driving around with ricer blue hood lights, you deserve to be kicked in the teeth, not put in jail. Just my $.02. -Ducky

anything BLUE on your car is illegal!!! its that easy... theyll say your tring to immate a cop.
now having red in the front im not sure... cuz red on a car is supposed to be "stoping" or tail lights.... amber im not sure either.... i really dont think that one matters. but why? why do you want more stuff the bring attention to yourself?? its just gonna give the cop another reason to turn around and pull you over.

Wouldn't it be easier to look up the rules in your own state than to continuously ask questions? Anyway, I think they look ridiculous. |

now i think those cobra eyes are pretty cool looking, id never put them on my car cuz there a waste of money. but i think theres nothing wrong with them. as for the girl that got arrested for them i think that was going a little overboard, i would have just given her a warning or told her to take them off. 40 hours of community servicce and 800$$ fine is pretty harsh.

It's just personal preference for me, but I think all that kind of thing just retracts from the looks of a car. I think there is nothing better than a car that just looks clean. no out of place chrome, no lights that have no purpose and most definitely no sticker packages. REAL race car drivers put those on thier cars because that's part of their sponsorship deal. Just my opinion, though...to each his own |
