e-Bay question

I won an auction but the seller has not contacted me since it ended (24 hours).

If he does not, what rights do I have to enforce or execute the sale? I looked around on the site map but nothing was really applicable.

Anyone had this happen to them or know of any options I might have?

Thanks in advance.

you need to give him atleast 3 business days to contact you, and atleast 7 business days to arrange payment. If there is no contact or anything.. then terminate the payment and file a non-selling seller report.

haha very nice find. most times if the seller doesnt contact you after an auction closes for a very small amount, .. they sometimes back out on the deal. Either way, bad feedback + report = kick their ass.

That's exactly why I was asking. I want these BAD considering they go for $250+. I figure he might be trying to back out.

He should have used a reserve price.

Well, that's really a low price... is that for a full set?

Anyway, yeah, he has 3 days to contact you before you should even start to think theres a problem.

Yea it's for a full set I believe.

I'll give it a couple of days and see what happens.

Every time I have bought something on e-bay (2 items...wow) the seller was quick to respond...we shall see.

you might as well contact him instead, sometimes the seller requires the buyer to do the initial contact

My concerns exactly.

It just seems too good to be true. I just wanted to know what my options were if in fact it's for all 4 coilovers at that price. If it's a legit auction, I want the goods.

If he backs out, you don't have any options really. At least you're not out the cash.

If it doesn't go through, report him, give bad feedback, etc. but you won't get the coilovers.

He has nothing listed. Not a single entry.

I did see he had something else up for auction at the same time, but that auction is over now too. Otherwise I would email that winner find out if the seller contacted him at all.

Other auction was for some Greddy 550cc injectors.

While typing this reply I decided to explore another avenue. Going from the email addy he used on e-Bay, I found his home page at :

http://www.innocenzlost.com/

I went ahead and emailed all the partners of the company. We'll see what happens.

Well, you shouldn't buy from a 0 feedback.

Also, why did you email all of his partners? I hasn't even been 3 days... bad form.

I didn't realize until after I had bid. In addition, someone had outbid me with proxy voting. This combined with no feedback made me decide to stop bidding. Then I got an email saying I won. It appears as though the "winner" retracted his bids. So I sent an email to the seller to see what was up. No response yet. And it has been three days since it ended so no bad form.

My opinion is that if you put shit up for auction you should be held accountable. It's not my fault he didn't use a reserve. I'm only following up and being persistent on an item I supposedly won.

I emailed all of his partners because they should be informed as to what their company had listed in their auctions. Does that not make sense?

If I were a partner in a business I would want to know what was going on.

Don't flame. If you read the original post it was a simple question asking what my rights were if I do not receive a response. I hadn't run into a problem and I just wanted to be informed in the event that happened.

I'm not concerned too much really, because I never sent any money. All I'll lose out on is a sweet deal, if in fact it was legit.
