I have a problem with my car. I have been having a hard time shifting into third and fifth. When i am racing i go to shift into third and you can feel it go in but when you let out the clutch it isn't there.. It just revs up. If i push in clutch again then it goes in. If it is in normal driving it goes in good. THe ohter night i was racing and i shifted ito fourth hard then after that i can't seem to get it into 1, 3 ,5. DO you Guys think my cable migh tbe junk. It's the only thing i can think of unless my clutch master cylinder is bad?
It is a 93 prelude 2.2 vtec |

What year Prelude and trim do you have? It could be bad syncro's.

My guess is that the linkage that is controled by the "up down" movement is loose. I'd check everything to do with that.
