Light flashes 10 times after it stops being solid from putting the ignition switch to the run position.

I am nearing 15k and it's been about 6k since the last regular service I had (I had the 7500k service done at 8k). Is the light flashing just a reminder I'm nearing the scheduled service window similar to the green/amber/red gauge on older Accords?

i think you are approaching the 15k service. read it up in the manual that came with your car

yep that's telling you about the 15K....

when you go to get it done they reset it to the next check up time...
