Opinion: Aem Cai V2
Hello Everyone!! I just wanted to know what do you think of the new AEM COLD AIR INTAKE V2...I haven't heard any word from AEM about this product on their web page. Can anyone enlighten me on how this V2 will be better than the one on the market now? Or however has tested it, can you give your opinion about the CAI? THANK YOU!

There hasn't been (well none I have seen anyway) that the new version of the intake is better than the old one. To be honest, I cant see how it could be any better. How much of a difference can a larger pipe make when they just shrink it right by the end of the throttle body again.
If you have an original AEM CAI might as well stick with it, cause even if it is better how much better can it be? |

Dyno proof...
Not to mention, they can't make the Si one that much bigger anyhow. The hole it goes rubs sometimes as it is.

i say noting, your trying to shove all that extra air into the intake, and it might even drain power from the engine

An intake does not spend any energy Shoving Air anywhere, it simply allows more and colder air to get in. It will not drain power from the engine.

**** it then
well anyway, it might not, i was kinda thinking about my friends rx7, if you do what that intake is doing, the mass air sensor gets all pissed and you lose power but still its not much better i say just go with the regular CAI |
