Trasmission Swap
Just curious if anyone has ever swapped an automatic with standard transmission, or knows a good place to find info on it? I have a 98 civic lx, its auto, either gonna switch or just sell and get a new 5 speed. Friend told me its prolly better just to get a new car, but if I can keep mine and switch I'd be willing to do it. Any suggestions? Thanks!

It's not that bad, you will need a standard tranny, clutch pedal the five speed stick and the labor. call this number(423-623-8781 and ask for evan and tell him Jamal from NY gave you his # and he can send you everything you need to do the swap at a reasonable price right to your door Oh I forgot check out his web site.

not too hard to do... i got some extra parts like pedals if you need it... clutch, brake/gas, master cylinder, etc... just get the tranny, clutch, flywheel, and you should be set...
