What kind of noise are you actually hearing?

Did you just install your exhaust? Header?

Did you reuse the donut gasket thing on the end of the stock down pipe? That'll cause a leak and a loss of power.

you mean *header*.

if you have an exhaust leak, it'll sound a bit louder and more of a groggy kind of sound.
i have a small exhaust leak right after my muffler and my car sounds like a turbocharged hondas exhaust

i'm used a NEW gasket, not the stock one.

and does you are make that turbocharged sound when its idling, or jsut when your accelerating *crosses fingers*

cause my car, when oyu accelerate it sounds like a hissing sound, but i tigtened everyhitng, there couldn't be a leak! lol

It makes a hissing sound when accelerate?? Wow, that's odd. Umm, do you have the latest drivers for your exhaust system?

I wish life was that easy. Either which way, hope you figure it out.

Are you sure the hiss isn't from the AEM intake?

Yeah the header is going to change the tone of your intake slighty. I thought I had a leak in my header but its just the way the header sounds either that or it went away hehe.

i jsut went driving, and this sounds so odd, i know its NOT the intake, and it sounds like the fuel being injected into the pistons or whatever, but its loud....would headers make the fuel injecting sound louder?

idea #1: pop hood, have someone rev your engine, stick your head in the engine bay and inspect.

ok, thats a good idea, but it only makes the sound when it's pulling in a gear.

if i rev it and it's standing still (in nuetral) it doesn't make the sound.

i'm starting to think its just the way the headers sound.

It probably is, if your not feeling a loss in power dont worry about it.

OMG I FOUND IT!!! AHHHHHHHHHHH! I'M SO PROUD OF MYSELF! lol!

i turned the car on, and stuck my hand down near the header and down pipe, and i felt air in the joint between the header adn the down pipe, so i unbolted it, and took the gasket out, cause i thought it was the gasket, and the gasket is totaly spent, lol, adn its new! lol it was like all burnt and brittle, it broke in my hands, and when i took it out, there was already a piece of it missing, it was just the mesh, no silicon (causeing the leak)

so, i gotta go get some gasket material, and cut another one :P

thnx for the help guys!
