Largest Engine in a LX?
I was thinking of dropping a b18c5, but I'm not sure it would fit within the engine compartment of a '00 LX?
Whats the largest engine I can put into the LX without major modification? (Purchasing different engine mounts is ok..) |

All the b series engine are approx. same size. The biggest engine that you can put in a civic for a practical price is the H22/prelude engine.

your stock mounts will NOT work unless you modify them.

http://tech.hybridgarage.com/tech/6gtech/index.html
"To fit any B-series engine into a 6G Civic, the rear mount from a 99-00 Civic Si (or 94-00 CRV) is required." |
