Ugh....books

So yesterday I drove the 45 min one way trip to my school to buy my books for the fall semester. $224 later I left. That was only for 3 classes too. Why do I minor in the classes that require 5 books for each class????? Ugh I just hate how much books cost.

Just thought I'd vent...now that I had a chance.

i never had to pay for books directly. I went to school for culinary arts and the books were included in the total price. Good thing, i think i ended up with close to 100 different books.

Same with when i went to school for Networking. The books were included in the price i paid each semester.

i think it's pretty gay how they make you pay seperate for all that shit...i mean, you already have to pay thousands and thousands to go to school in the first place

You're lucky. In engineering/computer science, many of the books are $100-$150. Looks like I'm going to be spending around $500 this term for books

Try $572 for 4 out of my 5 classes. I had 3 books that were over $115. Its ridiculous.

Only in 2 classes this quarter so its only $208. All of which I get back anyhow since my work pays for the tuition.
