camber kits

I am now on my second set of 205/40/17's (yokohama) because my kuhmo's literally unzipped because i did not have a camber kit. my local import shop is charging 240 dollars for only the front set and 100 buck to put them on.

I found a front set for 170 dollars and would like to install it myself. is it any more complicated than changing a tire or should i go ahead and let a professional do it?

also, i noticed with the kits that some correct angles like 1.5-3.0 or 0-4.0, etc. How do i know how much of an angle mine is at and how much to correct it? the insides of the tread are wearing if this helps and my drop is 1.4"

thanks,
derek

The shop should tell you how much you are out of alignment if you tried to get it aligned. Your best bet would be after you get the kits back in take it to a shop and have it aligned again.

Check www.groupbuycenter.com for camber kits they have some decent deals sometimes, if you havent checked there already.

Once you purchase and install the camber kit take it to be realigned and they can set the camber for you to be right.

As far as the type I would highly recommend the SKunk2 front camber kit and the rear you can adjust and correct w/ Washers.

Hope this might help......
