RSXs are too slow for me... Ive seen tuned turboed RSXs run 13-14... and thats with good suspension without spraying... I want something that hits 13s, if not lower, easily on pump gas... like a TT Supra... I decided against 300zx cause I dont like Nissan, and no 3000Gt Vr4 cause there are too many 3000GTs out there already...

What's a TT Supra? twin turbo? Now that's a ride that will haul, if you don't mind driving a pimp mobile.

For a moment I thought you were saying a TT....mmmmmmmmm, quattro......

Skip the scooby, if you want reliability that is. I dunno, maybe they've gotten better, but I have heard many mixed comments about Sub over the years with reliability. Although if their reliability is up, then consider it....just make sure you bypass the 3 catalytic converters that it comes with and crank up some serious boost on that bad boy. Of course you can't mind driving an ugly car if you get one.

Ya, I don't really like the rally car look of the WRX. Other than that, it's all good.

i don't know what you heard about reliability on scoobs, but i owned 2 so far and i can't complain. my first one was a 91 loyale station wagon with a 5 speed (yes it was an ugly car) and the clutch went out on me at 220k miles afetr 65 k miles of abuse(tires squealing, drop from 35mph in 5th to first and such). my dad owns a 93 legacy and no problems in 2 years, and he is not a maintenace freak.

and for wrx it's an ugly car that looks good

The 95 sc300 with the TwinTurbo Supra motor in it sounds like a badass idea... I know someone from online that has one at about 875hp... and nobody would ever suspect it... only problem is I kinda like getting people to look at me (I like the attention)... so Im still thinking Supra... dunno tho... I wanna do something new and original, but I also want something fast and reliable... also something that will get looks and isnt played out, like the civics... lemme know if yall have any other fresh ideas... keep em coming

My friend's one is at 820 hp, and he'S hitting the dyno next week..
900s here we come(well just him..)..

Venom600? Im ignorant, remember? Is this a motorcycle or what the heck is this thing? RX7 is a good choice too... something Ive been looking into... rotaries baffle me and I dont like the rear-wheelhop with RX7s, but more research is needed before I draw a conclusion... as you can probably tell im thinking this over very very carefully, so sorry if I seem too critical of any ideas... I appreciate them all

Dodge Viper Venom 600..

you'ld actually slaughter it quiet easily..

After optimal tuning and good driving you could run agains a Viper Hennessey 800.. Probably the fastest production car...
We're talking in 10's..

But that may cost you a little more..

Haha once again Im changing my mind a bit... I really need to stop doing this... Ive found a damned nice '00 Mitsubishi Eclipse... v6, manual, bright red... Street Shine Body Kit which I REALLY LIKE, red racing seats and red wing... also a Cowl and vented CF Hood!! I believe they are Volk E5 (or something like that) rims with Pirelli 9000 rubber... some basic engine mods... 30k miles... only $14k!!! Nothing is wrong with the car... this is a steal!!! with the extra 11 or so grand I could have that baby churning hard... anyone know a good place to find aftermarket goodies for this possible beast, including turbos, fuel systems, etc... Thanks

I would never ever buy a modded car.. 2 reasons..

1. nothing left to mod + no satisfation of having done good work on your ride..

2. the previous owner probably has driven it pretty hard..

Yeah thats true, but he has all the pain-in-the-ass mods outta the way, like Body Kit and Hood... I would prob switch the rims out for some CenterLine Rims... sure he probably drove it damned hard, but with the 11k I would save by not buying the Supra I could fully rebuild, overbore, port/polish, get new rods+pistons and other internal goodies like valvetrain stuff... that wouldnt leave any money for turbo, but that could be installed after the summer
