bwaaa, engine has a mind of it's own
well here it goes: i installed my aem cai today, and everything went sour. the first thing i had to make a hole in the inner fender bigger than Canada and China altogheter, then finally i come to the point to start my car. everything goes fine until i put in gear. the idle will go up to 2000 rpmsand stay there as long as i keep my foot on the brake, then when i start driving it will go to 3000 rpms and stay there the whole time. i had to take the car back becuase i could nit drive 50 on a 25. when i get home my idle is like 2000 rmps and oscilating. i adjust the idle speed, so it will be around 750 rpms, but when i put in gear it will go to 1500 rpms, and stay there all the time. i can't think of anything else but the IAT sensor which was canceled when i put the cai. any ideas ?

What's the IAT sensor? I assume you have an auto, also?
I thought the AEM CAI's had connections for all the sensors that connect to the factory intake..... b |

i fixed it. what i was doing is i was opturing the port for the IAT, and it wasn't seeing any pressure. afetr i fixed the problem the car runs like a champ.
IAT= intake air temperature
