Gauge cluster for two additional gauges...

I was told that this Si gauge cluster I am adding to my 1996 Civic EX I can; "Gauge cluster that allows for two additional gauges to be added to your car" Anyone know what this means? Are there connection behind the cluster that my current cluster doesnt have?

thats false.....you know the black plastic bezel that you have to unscrew before you can actually remove your entire gauge cluster? well you can replace that piece with a unit that holds 2 gauges on each side. ill try and find a pic.

see how the two gauges are on each side? that piece has nothing to do with your Si cluster itself....its an extra piece you have to buy from a shop or online.

Cool, what type...

Thanks for the input. What type of gauges would those be, or could they be...I am thinking about getting one of those and adding 2 additional gauges? Any recommendations...?

Actually.. the gague pods are made by Autometer.

www.autometer.com

and as for the guages.. as long as they are 2" any of them will fit.. autometer also makes them too.

Yea I have the same bezel, fits any typical autometer gauges up to 2 5/8" I belive. The fit and finish totally sucks though, I had to dremel the bastard to fit straight , but I guess after a while you don't notice it anymore.
