Got Bi-Xenon HID's

Saw'em on ebay and just bought them...

Now I gotta figure out what housings I'm going to put them in... Ideally I want to use the stock housing with the stock adjuters so I can align them all nicey nicey...

However I'll have to either find an aftermarket set that has clear lenses or make them myself.

A friend of mine's dad is a plastics engineer so he thinks it's not that out of the question... but it'd take some work.

But I'm jazzed... I've wanted these for a LONG time now... they're the nice ones with the cut offs that lift for high beams... so you don't blind anyone with the lows.

Cars really coming together as long as your not looking at it. lol.

Yeah the del sol seats are nice... I almost want those instead of my teg leathers... I think they're bolstered better if not just as well and from what I hear they sit REALLY low in the car... the teg seats are WAY high up. I'm only 5'9" and my head hits the roof sometimes.

Let me know how they come out.

Yeah I got raybrig h4h's not too long back and they made an UNBELIEVABLE difference over just normal bulbs... but the HID's should put those to shame...

It's prob. going to be a while before I tackle this though as...

A. They're costly so I don't want to rig it to work for now and end up having to buy a new set

B. I still have the cam/springs/retainers to put on as well as the 11" front discs... and my front brakes are acting up now and getting down to the indicators so I gotta get on that first, then the cam/hg etc, THEN i'll start sweating the HID's...

OH and I have to install my new amp which means running 4g wire front to back. and rewiring the speaker connections... also have to clean up the wiring in the dash... UGH...

Every time I get in the car I'm happy as kid in disneyworld though so I can't complain... and it's only gunna be getting better.

I've always wanted a set of quality aftermarket seats but I don't want to change the intrior of my car any more than I have to. Since my car is an anniversary edition (if only in name), some collectors will pay more for cars in their original condition. Guess it's a good thing I still have the stock motor.

I once took a ride in a friend's Mustang SVO that had a REALLY quality set of Recaros in it (by quality, read: expensive). It was almost unreal...like having your ass permanently glued to the seat. He was driving pretty hard but I didn't shift an inch. Gotta love that.

The teg seats ARE really nice seats... they're just leather so they don't grip as hard as fabric... and the rails make the seat sit too high in the cabin.

I may EVENTUALLY recover the teg seats and swap the pans so they sit at the normal civic seat height.

They're WAY comfortable and good for agressive driving though... just not right after buffing the leather... and they look GREAT.

I actually just drove in a friends new VW GTI the turbo 2.0... those seats are REDICULOUS... just like GT was saying they literally HOLD you... I don't think you could budge in them...
