msd 6a gains

I was wondering has anyone put an msd 6a on their car and if they did what type of gains did they experience. I have one on my car but I am curious to know how others are doing.

i had that on the accord. the trottle response was way better than the original ignition, the power band was a lot smoother, and it went from gas yaradage to gas mileage. with the proper tuneup the accord wopuld get a combined gasmileage of 29mpg

I'm not a big fan of MSD. I had a few friends who had their shit go bad.

Look into a dual capacitor- discharge type like AEM C2Di. That is what I have, although I havent installed it.

i've been running my MSD digital 6 for at least 6-8 months now, it works great. better response and when reving the engine it feels smoother than it used to.

Get the 6a if you are going to be racing A LOT... the only difference between the 6 and 6a is a rev limiter and $50. 6 is $150 and the 6a is $200. Notice better throttle response and overall efficiency. No power gains... you don't upgrade your ignition for horsepower.
