Frame Damage - what happens when you don't have the proper rear suspension

Here is what happens when your home engineered ladder bars are stronger than you think, and the frame gives before they do..

http://www.angelfire.com/bug/m_littl...amage27mar.jpg

As you can see, where the ladder bar (more of a slide link) was welded to the frame ripped a nice piece out of the frame.

We dunno.. The frame was not rusted/corroded at all.. I am thinking that the spot where it was welded was pushed and pulled super fast and heated the metal a bit or something like that. Other than that I dunno.

Yea.. but I only had 275 tires on it.. I think it is something that has been happening over time.. but it totally repairable. not a big deal.. but not driveable till it's fixed.

the geekz0r (11:03:46 PM): basicly, look at it this way...the 6speed is the same is the 5speed in 2,3,4,5,and 6...only the speeds are different because of the fd
the geekz0r (11:04:16 PM): so 2nd pulls like 1st in the 5speed, 3rd is like 2nd, etc.
PortugeeTex (11:04:26 PM): so whats 1st like then?
the geekz0r (11:04:49 PM): 1st is like hitting a cheeta in the ass with a tazer
PortugeeTex (11:04:53 PM): lmfao
