My dream come true...L.A. destroyed. Hehe. As for top 3 recent movies...I'm not really a big fan of recent movies...I prefer to go old school. But, if forced to choose...
1. 28 days later (always a sucker for a good zombie/horror flick) 2. S.W.A.T (meaningless action...always good as a 90 min diversion) 3. House Of The Dead (again...gotta love horror movies)

Boondock Saints owns us all in more ways than anyone can count. Spies Like Us was cool (though hardly recent)...but American Pie was just a huge string of dick and fart jokes. While thats not always bad (reference: Not Another Teen Movie), but not for 3 whole movies.

1. LOTR 3
2. Underworld 3 Remember the Titans(love that movie) and 28 days later just plain sucks...not scary...ending was horrible, and that dumbass part where they're running around the shop with shopping carts with the happy music belongs on queer eye for a straight guy

^ Well...he's right about the ending...totally weak. But I don't think the point of zombie flicks anymore is to be scary...just as entertainment for fans of the genre. It was pretty close to being a rip-off of Night Of The Living Dead, too...but I'm not complaining. Just saw Underworld...thought it was decent, but the story was just too out of left field. Bring on the classic vampire flicks. You know...like Blade. Lol. j/k

lol, yeah underworld was kinda out there...but still alright.
and i just didn't think there was much zombie action goin on in the movie either...seemed mostly just talking amongst the "survivors"(i guess you would call them that).

Ok...I *might* have another one to add. I just watched Signs (courtesy of Kazaalite and TMPGenc) and I must say for a sci-fi flick it was pretty damn good. The fact that interstellar beings can't open doors and are killed by water was a little lame, but it's other points were more original than most sci-fi movies...like the fact that you never see their faces. It leaves more to the imagination. I give it 2 thumbs up.

Ehhhh...that's right there with S.W.A.T. It was ok as a diversion for 90 minutes, but I tend to prefer a lot of gore with my meaningless violence.

Pirates of the Caribbean was a good movie for being Disney. Also Torque was actually a pretty good movie. American History X is a classic. Bad Boys 2 was good, much better than the first one.
