speakers will only go bad if you blast your music way above what it should be at. with a speaker saver you dont have to worrie about that.

the geekz0r (11:04:16 PM): so 2nd pulls like 1st in the 5speed, 3rd is like 2nd, etc.
PortugeeTex (11:04:26 PM): so whats 1st like then?
the geekz0r (11:04:49 PM): 1st is like hitting a cheeta in the ass with a tazer
PortugeeTex (11:04:53 PM): lmfao

bought my car in sept. of 2002, put in a cd player (jenson hideaway face) lasted two weeks before it got fried, got a new one for free lasted till about the end of this past november. put a new panasonic ghost face (touch screen). it sounds nice on my door speakers, but i would like to here it on my system when i get a new one(pulled amp and subs out of car to detail the car, and one channel went out causing my alpine subs to blow(gotta love circuit citys 2 yr. no questions asked warrenty). i plan on buying 3 kicker vr-comp 15"s, and building a box that attaches to my backseat.

by the way if anyone has any questions about installing amplifiers/hu's/subs/speakers, just email me and i will help you out, i am an installer for a local shop, so i can get you stuff for cheap from our wholsalers.

a speaker saver is basically like a cross over, you can zone out certain frequency's<--- zone out the highs, so all you hear is bass through the subs and vice versa.

buddy, that IS a crossover.

Had my Clarion Head unit for a year with no problems, not even faded buttons.

Concept subs, over a year, not a problem at all.
ultimate amps, over a year
Stinger cap, over a year
Clarion 1/2 din EQ, couple months
Image Dynamics speakers are blown cause i turn it up all the way with no bass blockers.
