It a great car. Those are faster. You can get this car now.

I was almost going to get an ser. Like to the point to where all i had to was go sign the papers. But by luck my moms lexus broke down and the dealer gave her a loaner 04 gs300.

From then on i decided i would get a lexus. Particulary the IS300. That was last month. Now the car choices are between the IS300, or the audi S4. I was thinking about the benz cl320, but i might as well get the lexus instead of the benz. It really comes to which i get the better deal on, the S4 or the IS. Im expecting my carpayment to be around 550-600 a month, but IMHO it will be worth it.

I think the SER is an ok car. But you may want to shop around a bit before you decide.

He should "shop around" a bit...

You just suggested like 4 cars that are triple the cost of what he's looking at...

IMO lexus' drive like machine's instead of cars... I've NEVER liked a lexus I drove (never driven an IS though).
The S4 is cool and all but the gears make it silly to drive... they're just too short.
I HATE benzs'... they're luxury cars.. pretentious one's at that... I know they're good and all but they're WAY WAY overpriced and just bling bling to impress people imo.

Besides the rediculously expensive payments on cars like that they all generally have high insurance premiums too... a waste imo.

back on topic

I wouldn't buy your car (no offense). I don't think you'd get much money for it seeing as...
A. they don't have very good resale as a PERFECT mint fully loaded car.
B. People don't like buying modded cars (especially heavily modded)
C. You haven't been driving it long so people would assume something's about to go bad and you know it.

HOWEVER... if you put it on ebay some F'tard might end up paying lots of money for something that's already done... you never know... just set a reserve so you don't sell it for less than you want.

As far as the S-er... I wouldn't get a new gen one... I'd get like a 91-93... they're SICK... they have the sr20de motor in them... just waiting for a t...

If you pick up the dec. issue of turbo magazine they have their project ser in there and it's REDICULOUS... they just put straight cut gears, a nismo lsd, and some nasty axels in it.

They make LOTS of stuff for that motor and it has TREMENDOUS capabilies... WAY WAY more than the 2.4 imo.

what series engine is the spec v anyway... isn't it just the k24 bottom end with a better head/technology?

If so I'd go for the smaller lighter better handleing 2.0 gen ser... they are SICK...

I don't know what you would get for the probe but I don't think would get a sentra spec v. I really don't like how they look and I heard you can't do as much with their engine as you can the sr20de. If I were you I would look at the dodge neon srt-4, or the mazdaspeed protege, or wait until the civic si type r comes. I read that it's supposed to be here early next year.

The IS300 is a nice ride and a reliable one at that. It's fun to drive as well, unlike anything else Toyota. Plus there's a hella large market for customizations on that car.

I'd say the S4 is in a totally different class consider its price and Quattro. Not to mention Audi doesn't have the best reputation for reliability, especially electrical reliability. But it's still a nice ride.

I wouldn't bother with a Benz....get a real car. The only real cars they make are S-class/AMG.

What about a 330? Those are nice and definitely fun.

5-600 may be a little on the low side, how much are you planning on putting down? For a $30k car (which none of those are), if you put down 12 and finance 18 for 3 years at 3.7% you'll pay $529.03 a month. Maybe you've got the money....I dunno, I guess so if you're looking at those cars.

Back on topic, like nonovurbizniz said....I wouldn't buy it for those reasons, but you may have better luck on ebizzle.
