I dunno...they last one was kinda ghey. A lot of action sequences that had a "plot" as filler. And even then the plot was full of a bunch of existential bullshit. As per usual, the 1st one was MUCH better. But hey...if I get bored enough we'll see.

AWEsome, i havent seen the second one yet but i used to watch the first one almost daily and it all goes with the theme or plot or whatever so I understood it plenty well. And i also understand why making more matrix movies would be kind of pointless

What is wrong with everyone? This movie sucked......the first one was cool because it was original.....now it's all built up hype.

Awww...man...you had me up until the whole "Trinity is hot" thing. That dopey b!tch needs to eat something. She'd be a lot hotter if, in close-ups, she didn't look so much like Keanu Reeves. But as for the trilogy I totally agree. The first one put out a lot of really great and challenging ideas with just the right amount of action/plot. The second one was way too much action bonded by a psuedo-plot and didn't further any of the ideas. Now the third one has done the same thing but combined it with an anti-climactic ending and a bunch of shitty filler. Just MHO

That movie was sick, i took my girlfriend to see it yesterday (saturday).

Its funney, that movie will strike a nerve in everybody who watches it when they ask questions like "why am i here? what is my purpose? what will happen to me?"

The reason the movie WILL get bad reviews is because people hate to think about that stuff because it makes them wonder if their is anything more to this life.

Oh ya, and the religious symbolizm is extrememly apparent - i dont know if the Wachouski bros are religious, but they know whats up.

Actually, the movie will get bad reviews because it sucked. If it were as simple as ideas people found to be challenging then they would've absolutely murdered the first one because that's where all of the REAL ideas were laid down. That's also what made the first one so good. So I'm afraid on that note you're incorrect. Otherwise....*shrug* to each his own I suppose.

Right...but you're not talking about the plot of THIS movie. The challenging ideas were introduced in the first movie and the next 2 just sort of danced around it and the ideas brought forth in those 2 were much less challenging and really too pretentious and meaninglessly existential. There weren't any ideas about reality in the last 2...it was all about meaningless personal choices and decisions and other worthless crap that have no bearing to those watching from the audience.

they defintely got some ideas and crap from the bible for that movie its only obvious. And yeah the first one was the best but it must not have been enough for some people. I like the fact that they made more because it just goes to show you the whole cycle, the first 'one' died and he came back as neo or whatever so now that neo is dead there will be another 'one' eventually. I dunno I just hope they dont make anymore.
