Info on Head swap and Tranny?

Anyone have information on where to look so I can get a Vtec head off of a EX for my O3 Vic? And also I was curious if the 6sp tranny off of a RSX will bolt up to my D17?

besides a jyard...ebay, call several salvage yards (check your phonebook), importautosalvage.com, ask friends, etc. Finding that head will not be as easy as finding say a y8 head.

See, the new civic parts are hard to find because theyre new...people are still using them on their reletively new cars...making it hard to find.

I wish you luck on finding one...its going to be quite difficult if you are unable to find one at a local jyard.

You dont have to be vtec's slave though...too many people are. There was always a world before vtec, and there is always going to be one w/o it. You can still achieve power w/ aftermarket valvetrain componants for your lx to make it rev higher and go faster.
Personally, I cant wait to get rid of my vtec y8 for a b18b.
