Well,

I was woundering when certain things should be looked at upon increasing milage on the car.

timing belt
water pump
valve adjustment
fluid check ups

those are the most important basic things imo

other things like wheel and tire balance, alignment, rotation, etc should be taken care of as well...but are easier to notice because you see them

ignition systems on hondas seem to go pretty easily also.

also, check your cv boots, seems like every car ive bought or dealt with has at least one ripped.

fluids to watch are:

Engine Oil
Trans oil (gear oil for manuals, ATF fluid for autos(done by machine))
Power steering fluid (about 80 bucks for flush and fill)
Coolant (good idea to have the system flushed, not just topped off)
Brake Fluid (just watch the levels from outside the resevoir. you open it youll prolly contaminate it)

battery- make sure there is no corrosion

Well I know about the fluids

I know about checking up on your fluids thats common sense. I was just woundering about the internals that I need to be checking up on. Thanks for the replys guys!

incase you didnt know, the way to tell if your over due for a valve adjustment is theres a weird ticking coming from the engine.

when its idling, and youre outside the car is when its easiest to tell.
