loudest on your car?

What are the loudest on your car?

I put volume 20 or 25 with CD Player on my car.

20-25....i'm gettin a new 4 channel for my highs so i can match gains with the HU and let the volume go higher....not too high so as that i can avoid clipping and distortion.....mine seems to start kicking in the power around 20 though......kinda sucks....cause if it's below 20 i gotta fade the channels to the front to hear the highs

It's not like we were forcing here to smell the glove.... it was more of an offer.

mine goes to 65 but it's usually around 40 at highway speeds and open windoes. gotta hear more than just the wind noise and engine

the number that the volume goes to is arbitrary... degree of "loudness" is measured through db's not numbers...

SO the first response "mine goes up to eleven" is from the movie "spinal tap" if you've seen it you'll see the connection the the thread...

the second quote is another quote from the same charactor in the same movie...

i dont know how high mine goes but i keep it at 13max...generally its @ 7-10
