how many amps is my altenator? 97 accord SE
and also, how many amps does my eletrical system use from my altenator on average? |

you can always get a new alternator, and i can hook you up with a deep cycle optima battery

do you know what the current draw from my electrical system in my car, not including my stereo is?
what would be a good amperage for my alternator to keep up with my electrical system and my stereo? i'm gonna go talk to a guy about getting my altenator rewound tommorow so yeah. how much for the yellow top? |

90 amps max current draw is at full power (aka will probably never happen)..
Since you're having it respun, try to get 150-180 amps.. I cant remember how high our's can be spun to.. I'm currently running a respun Legend alt.. A deep cycle battery isnt a very sustainable way of powering a system.. Once you have a higher output alt, simply add a cap to protect the alt. Thats it.
