I don't see that many around here. I guess it's about a 3/4 new si to civic ratio

Dude not to be picky but you contradict your self. If you neighbor has one then i would assume that you see one alot.

I see them all the time now, they just started popping up a month or so ago. Are they really as slow as people who test them say they are?

I really want to race one and find out.

Yes, it's just you... I have only seen a few on the road, and they remind me of an Egg Timer on wheels.

Nope, I said I don't see many, meaning that I don't see many different new Civic Sis. I see the same one often

I saw one when I bought my del Sol at the dealership. It was kinda just sitting there, not too many people looking at it. The saleswoman (yes, she was a woman) wanted me to look at it but I was like "umm no thanks, now how about that del Sol?"

there are quite a bit in socal but i've only seen one out here. and yeah they're pretty slow, looks like a mini odyssey to me. but I'm sure with time they'll be quick, but I don't know what will help that front end.

well theres 2.4million people in the Tdot, so I see at least one a day. Though I can't tell if they're selling well or there's a few in my hood.

I personally think they'd look better in europe then they would over here. To bad they ruined teh design.

diligent_dave - I have to ask WTF is 1/8mile does that mean in a 1/4mile you'll run 20something?

Who races on an 1/8mile?

considering we lose money on them just to sell them that's why they are popping up everywhere now. they are actually a fun car IMHO just priced WAY out of their target market.

Yeah, there's 1/8 mile tracks all over the place around here. I run mine about every other weekend.

I saw a few around when they first came out, but haven't seen one in a while.

I took one out for a spin last year and I was very unimpressed with it. In the parking lot in 1st it felt very zippy with the close-ratio gearbox, but coming around a Uey in 2nd gear at 4k the car had NO getup at all and felt totally flat.....just not very exciting IMO. I find my Accord sportier than the new Si. I do like the looks, though.....

Biker- a 1/4 mile is not exactly the double of an 1/8 mile you have to include that you start at nothing in the 1/8th and in a 1/4 on the second half you are going at around 60 so they wont be doubled of one another. And if you run about an 11 1/8 then you might run an 18 1/4

Every one else-

I have seen very few Si's but i liked the 99-00 coupe look better
