![]() My 94 accord is starting to have a ticking sound at idel. I have 144,000mi, but i do use maxlife oil. What can be done to reduce this. Is it time for plugs & wires?

hmmm, a valve adjustament, or worn valve guides. any blue smoke out the exhaust ???

is valve adjusting something that can be done @ home or should you have a pro do it? from what i've been told is that it only takes about an hour.

yeah it takes only an hour to do. i dunno about your thouu since you have vtec, and how the insides of the head looks like
