Would you defraud a dealership?

That post about the incident at i-club got me curious, so how bout it? If you had the chance to defraud a dealership and make a false warrenty claim, would you?

i had an extended warranty for the 92 LX and i took it in to have the brakes fixed (sommething i wouldn't touch) and when i got it in they started changing axles, the water pump, the timing belt, some sensors and i had to pay only $107 for the whole repair. After a while i took my car in for a leaking radiator, they started working on it and when it was done they told me the insurance stopped working with them, soi had to pay all the repair bill even thou the warranty had to cover it. well i paid and the i got my money back from the warranty.

ohh the reason the warranty co didn't work with them was because the yput unnecessary repairs on their bill. now i'm stuck with a dealership that really sucks (Ganley Honda) and have to take my car there 3 times to get it fixed.

Trust me, I know how you feel, I have a crappy Honda dealership too, over charge, don't get stuff right, don't put stuff back together properly, I finally gave up and started doing repairs myself

I vote 'no', but I will say this much. I only have respect for businesses that have respect for me. I wouldn't feel so bad defrauding them if they had defrauded me, but I'd never instigate a problem with anyone. There are too many shady businesses who, quite frankly, deserve to get ripped off (I'm not referring to dealerships here).

I know a dealership in GA that replaced the entire engine for a guy who ran nitrous and blew the thing out within a couple months of buying it. The kid took out everything but they saw the splice in the fuel lines and knew what he had done. They replaced it for him anyways. I guess they wanted his business.

I took mine in today for a tuneup and some other crap and they fixed my rear drum prob for free...they cheated themselves (they knew, they told me, they said dont worry about it), and a free rental '02 Civic for the day...then when I paid I got free king size candy...even though I paid $1K...the candy and the free rental car made it worth it

damn... that sux... around here (CT) that's inline with pricing.. frankly it's probobly cheap..

That's why I work on my car myself... my buddy's family owns a gas station so I order parts for cost through them and do all the work after hours. It's a great option but not too widely available.

Maybe a few years ago I would have done something stupid like that. But now, no way. What goes around, always comes around. Karma is a b*tch and I'm not messing with that.
