brake question

for those of you out there that own a 97 civic ex, are there 4-wheel disk breaks, or is it front disk and rear drums?

They should come with discs in the front, and drums in the rear. You can get a disc brake conversion done.

aem makes a kit that costs way too much...just get the rear discs off a 99-00 Si or an Integra (94-01 i think...i dont know the integra yrs) they bolt right on

don't buy a "rear drum-to-disk" conversion kit...i think its too damn expensive, but if you have the money...then go ahead...

its worth it if you get it from another car...just dont buy a kit

If your car has ABS then it has rear disc if not then NO. The rear disc brakes on the 94-01 integ and 99-00 Si are decent but a pain in the ass if the calipers are frozen. If your're not going to do some heavy autox I wouldn't bother with it.
