I was just wondering wahta re the usual signs or symptons to know when one's clutch is gone and needs to be replaced. The car is not handling or acting or anything differently. Sounds like the master or slave cylinders are leaking or are low on fluid.
If your clutch is going it will slip.

Yeah, slip is when you pop the clutch and it revs but you don't go as fast as you could. If you're losing pressure, its most likely the cylinders though.

good way to check slipage is to go like 30 and then drop it into 5th...if the rpms rise but you dont go any faster...your clutch is slippin...
id check the fluid level first and then try this...just because you can do it w/o goin anywhere...but if its low...fill it and then still try the driving thing...just to be sure you dont have more than 1 problem |
