Need to replace passenger side glass. help!

I need to put new glass in my passenger side door. The whole piece of glass rolls up and down into the door. I can see the track for the window to fit into, but I can't find out how to keep the window in the track or what makes it roll up and down. Is there something the glass attaches to?
