				 | firing towards the rear.. and as close as possible to the rear.. the positioning of the sub is critical.

				 | is firing towards the rear wise in a trunk? seems it would increase exterior rattle, as well as dimish the sound quality to me. But this comes from a guy with a hatch so ignore me

				 | Mine fires towards the rear...lots of bass, lots of rattling..think of it this way ...your trunk provides more air space when firing towards the rear (right?) i tried facign my subs forward, i still had rattling but not as much bass... |

				 | I know it magnifies the bass in a hatch, big time, like doubles it, but i didnt figure the trunk would do it as much because of the... oh **** it i dont know, ignore me, i know about my car thats about it trunks = over rated
