Alignment for bigger tires????
I am going to be buying rims for my car very soon and it is going to be from sears. I have been told by them that i should have an alignment done on my car since i am going to a 215/45/17 tire from the stock 205/60/15. Is this true about going to a bigger tire, or are they tryin to make a buck?

I think it would be best to have it aligned, because the overall geometry has slightly changed from what it was.

I have 215/45/17..
an alignment is not necessary.. If it makes a while that you did one, then fine do it.. Otherwise you can wait.. PS, if you do any suspension work, then you must.

you do not need to do the alignament just for bigger wheels. the hub will be in the same position relative to the car. if u drop the car tha's a different story
