best cheap sub configuration

I've been looking at some cheap subs and amps and im trying to figure out what configuration would be the best. I'm looking at the Pioneer TS-W33C subs with either 1 Profile 600Wx1 amp powering just one sub, or the Profile 600Wx2 powering 2 subs. Whatever i'll decide on will go in a sealed inclosure box most likely. Which configuration would give me the best sound quality and overall bass? Can you recommend anything better for around $175-200?

I'm not sure of what you can get..

But you really should avoid Profile amps. Even basic Kenwoods--Sony--Pioneer are much more durable/stable.

Yeah...don't get any Profile amp IMO. I sold Pioneer subs at Good Guys and they came back a lot...either blown or the customer was dissatisfied.

my friend has the pioneer subs, and they seem pretty good. They dont blow you out of the seat or anything, but they sound decent, and thats all im looking for. As far as amps go, im clueless. Would having 1 12" with 1 600W amp sound better than 2 12"s with the same amp? Lets put it this way: I have 2 Pioneer 450 watt subs, which amp would run them best for around $120?

Two 12" would sound louder cause it's more inches of subs pushin air. A good amp for around $120...might try lookin for a 2 channel Kenwood or Sony

Bass is air being moved.. thats a blunt explanation, but thats still the idea..

Now if you get 2 subs, power them properly, then do it..
And if you're thinking of getting 2 cheap subs instead 1 good sub.. then dont.. (ie, 2 Boss instead 1 pioneer)..
