Holy Crap...WTF did I just do?!
Ok...so I just got a new computer and I'm trying to save all my email stuff to transfer over to it. I hit the "archive" thing thinking it would send all the stuff to another easily findable folder. But the sh!t started disappearing and I can't find it! What the hell did I do and where did it go? Much respect to anyone who can help me here and tell me how to do it right cuz that was about 2 years worth of stuff!

well mate it hasn't been deleted and if your using a M$ product its not that hard to find. Its just been compressed to save diskspace.
The easiest way to fix this is use "file transfer wizard" if you have XP on your new machine and I'm guessing you do. It will walk you through step by step and create one big file that you can put on a cd and bring to the new computer. This file will have all your settings, emails, my documents and so on. Give me a shout if you have no clue what i'm talking about. |
